Dear Rowers 

    The race course at Goplo Lake is regarded as one of the best natural water regions in Europe. 

  It is a perfect place to host significant sports events.

  Hosting the European Rowing Championships is a great honour for local rowing.

  I am convinced that the Championships will be met with great interest at home and abroad, and will create an opportunity for 

  promoting the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodenship in Europe.

  It is with great pleasure that I accept the position of honorary patron of the First European Rowing Under 23 Championships, 

  which will take place in the Polish town of Kruszwica on 2nd - 3rd September 2017. 

                                                                  I would like to wish the best of luck to all the rowing teams and crews, and to the organisers.
